About you

You should be interested in driving best practice through smart use of proper systems. Purpose of role

Currently we are professionalizing and structuring the business for next phase growth. In doing so we seek a valuable member of the finance team to replace the leaving resource. The role is placed in our Financial planning and analysis team and reports to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.

The role will be involved in monthly analysis, reporting and forecasting along with any ad-hoc analysis requests that naturally arise in private equity high growth group.

Systems and tools currently relevant for this role is amongst other Microsoft dynamics 365, Salesforce, Power BI and Cube. We are also actively using Microsoft office. As a software entity we continuously look for smarter ways of solving today’s problems and other less known systems are also in use doing so.


  • Assisting in the annual and interim budgeting & forecasting processes, month end closing and reporting processes, in conjunction with Accounting and Transactions finance teams as well as various stakeholders around the company
  • Responsible for production of monthly KPIs and management report as well as performance of follow-up with cost center owners
  • Responsibility for continuous improvements in financial reporting and processes, digitalizing and streamlining, advising on business-critical topics, and pro-actively detecting and reporting financial risks/opportunities
  • Providing relevant and insightful financial performance data appropriate for various levels in the business – detailed operational as well as high level overview.
  • Preparation of investment analyses and business cases when needed
  • Actively supporting Finance colleagues on ad-hoc analyses and requests.

Education, experience, knowledge and skills

  • Min. Master’s degree in relevant subjects (eg Business/Accounting/Economics)
  • 1-2 years relevant working experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to consolidate and present the financial insights in a transparent way to management
  • Flexible and able to follow up different projects in parallel.
  • Strong Excel skills, a good knowledge of other Microsoft applications

No two days will be the same. The role covers a wide range of important responsibilities across Finance. So, we expect the successful candidate to be:

  • Team player, and an independent worker, with minimum need for supervision
  • Service minded, adaptive, eager to learn and willing to take on new tasks
  • Result oriented, systematic, structured, and process orientated
  • Not afraid to take initiative
  • Previous experience working with international Private Equity owners is an advantage
  • Fluent (written and oral) in English and one Scandinavian language
